What Is the Boat made of? Is it inflatable?

The boat is made out of Fiberglass or High Density Polyethylene which is a hard plastic compound that floats by itself. It cannot sink, even when full of water.

Does the Boat have a motor?

Yes. The boat has a tiller outboard motor.

How fast does the boat go?

It travels at 5 to 7 miles per hour depending on wind, current and amount of people on board. It is designed so that BBQ grilling can be taking place on while traveling.

What about boat safety?

They all have the required safety equipment including life vests, an anchor and a paddle. You will be motoring on the intracoastal waterways and not in the open ocean, so you will be in reasonably close to cell towers, in case you wish to use your cell phone.

Do we need a captain?

It depends on the package you choose. You may drive the boat yourself if there is no alcohol consumed. We will instruct you how to operate the boat and the outboard motor. We do not offer food packages on these rentals. If you purchase our BBQ food and beverage packages for you and your group, a captain is available at no additional cost. These Food and Beverage BBQ Packages are with a Captain and these cruise seat a maximum of 6 people. The whole boat rentals seat 10 with no Captain provided.
